Diamond delivers on housing and infrastructure.
Whether it’s working for a more modern housing code or fighting for the funding to repair Cabarrus County roads and bridges, Diamond’s track record in the NC House is clear: you can count on her to fight for the needs of Cabarrus County families.

Too many in our community are struggling to afford skyrocketing housing prices along with similarly high prices on everything else. Diamond is fighting for more affordable housing on multiple fronts. First, she’s working to invest in workforce housing by expanding the existing loan program. She also co-sponsored legislation that would pilot a Landlord-Tenant Assistance program to keep more people in their houses. Lastly, House Bill 294 gives local municipalities greater authority in making housing choices on their own.

Diamond knows that even if infrastructure isn’t glamorous, it’s vitally important to connect working families to community resources. Diamond has been fighting for funds for local infrastructure projects, expanding rural broadband access, and modernizing our transportation infrastructure.
